Over the years, we’ve honed and adapted the way we work, so we outline our web design process from the initial meeting through to launch, as well as explain some techy terms.

The first step in designing a successful website is to gather as much information about you or your business and what you want to achieve with your online presence. Many things need to be taken into consideration when we plan a strategy for the look and feel of your of your new development or website, so first we will ask you lot of questions to help us understand your business inside and out and your needs for a new design or development project.

There are many stages in the development of any concept, and website design is not any exception. This first stage involves information gathering: which is one of the most important components of our end result, as this is when a clear and concrete target is set, on exactly what you as the client desire and need.
When these goals are defined, they can be implemented.

To gather information for planning of projects the following will be asked:

*Purpose of the website to provide information, promote a niche service or selling products are some of the examples.
*Goals of exactly what you as the client would like new website to accomplish, to increase revenue, share information.
*Target audience it's always good to know your target audience and the final design can be designed suit audience.
*Content is the information which will be presented on the website it always a good guideline to the type of website we will end up with.

We will also discuss the features of the website, for instance if paypal, online forms, backend admin or user areas are all additions which can be chosen to either have or not have on your website. Note: Only once all this information is gathered we move on to the next stage.

Once the initial stage of strategy planning is completed we then focus on the look and feel of the website development.

The sections which were discussed in the previous stage will start to take affect form here, but also decisions from your strategy such as use of logos, the colour pallet will also be discussed which will help strengthen your identity.

Once the design is agreed upon the first actual form of the website will be put together by our in-house team of developers. In this stage there will be a lot of communication between you and the developer or account manager, to refine the finer details of the website, to satisfy your needs. After design and content written we then look at marketing taking all the information we collected and researched and implementing seo meta descriptions etc on your website ensuring your found in major search engines such as BING, Google and Yahoo upon website launch.

This is the point when the final details will be looked over again and the website will be exposed for intense test run on a private server. Testing the complete functionality of forms, pages, scripts etc and any other addons will be made sure that there are no issues with compatibility.

After tests come back complete, the senior developer will give their final approval and the site will be delivered upon final payment. All accounts that need to be set, will be finalised so you can start to add and control the content of the website.

But just before complete transfer once all the accounts and transfers have been made a final live test-run will be carried out, to make sure everything runs smoothly to which you will then be given the complete control. Or like many clients our best option for success and uptime would be under our managed website agreements! Contact us to find out more.
